Creator Fairness Policy
Sole Cultura Impartiality Policy
Merkosi was founded by the owner of Sole Cultura, a hand-painted sneaker shop and the platform's founding creator. Because of this relationship, Merkosi enforces a permanent impartiality policy:
- Sole Cultura is excluded from all editorially curated placements, including featured spots, homepage highlights, newsletter features, and gift box selections.
- Sole Cultura is subject to the same commission structure, payout schedule, and platform policies as every creator. No exceptions!
- Sole Cultura sales are monitored and capped at 3 per month.
This policy is permanent and applies regardless of how the platform grows.
How we keep things fair for every creator
You keep what you earn Creators receive 91% of every sale. Merkosi's 9% covers payment processing and platform operations. No listing fees, no hidden deductions, no surprise charges.
Your pricing is yours Merkosi will never require or pressure creators to discount their work. Any platform-wide promotions are funded by Merkosi.
Equal rules for everyone Every creator, including Sole Cultura, is held to the same standards, subject to the same policies, and evaluated by the same criteria. Curation decisions are based on fit and quality, not relationships.
You know when you get paid New creators are on a 14-day payout hold after delivery while trust is established. As you build a track record, that hold is reviewed. You will always be notified if a hold is extended. Founding creators are on a 7-day payout hold after delivery.
