Our Story:
Merkosi started from a simple frustration, it was becoming harder to find work that felt real. So many marketplaces are optimized for speed, volume, and noise. We wanted something quieter and more authentic. A place where creators aren't buried by algorithms, AI, and dropshipped products. A place where craftsmanship, care, and intention come first. We're still small, and that's the point.
Our ambitious goal is for every creator on Merkosi to eventually make a living doing what they love. We're a marketplace, but we measure success differently; not by how much we take, but by how much we give back.
How to get involved as a creator:
We keep our community intentionally small. If you make original work with care and you want a place that treats you like a person, we'd love to meet you. Follow the steps below if Merkosi is right for you.
1. Apply to join Merkosi
Share your work, your story, and how you create using our application form.
2. We review your application
Every submission is read carefully. We do not rush this step.
3. If accepted, we onboard you personally
We'll create your seller account, help you set up your profile, and guide you through getting your storefront live.
4. You create, we support
You focus on making meaningful work. We handle the platform, visibility, and community.
